Hello all,
This will be very interesting for me to start a blog!
I am a US Army Veteran that was once deemed disabled by PTSD, Bipolar, and other personality disorders. However, thanks to the help and support of my wife, I have been able to address the internal issues causing my external outcomes. As a result, I have been leading a happy, healthy, ad well lifestyle for over 4 years now. I've made so many strides that I have found myself capable of counseling others in their struggles. I hope to soon open a boxing gym that trains in boxing fitness for discipline, training technique, and weightloss purposes. I envision a place where boys and young men can have a place to learn and grow, channel stress, and find more positive ways to respond to the rigors of life. I hope my life experience will provide some helpful insight to others who may share the same or similar stressors I've faced.
Say hello to one of my new loves.....Gracie Grace!
Felix,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post. I think that you have a wonderful goal in mind and I hope that you accomplish it. There is nothing like taking a situation that one has to deal with and make it into the best positive outcome; there is nothing like helping others find a way to deal with life’s ups and downs and knowing that you helped them accomplish that goal. Good for you and thank you for your service; your service is so grateful to all Americans in so many ways and I find it exciting and I look up to you for your continuous service to others.
Thanks,
Melissa
Melissa,
DeleteThank you so much for the kind and encouraging words. I agree that it is always best to make a positive outcome out of a bad situation. In fact, that's why I think we all must face a different bad scenario in life so that we learn how to help others pick up the pieces. That's how I believe God hopes for us to treat one another!
Thanks again,
Felix
Hello Felix,
ReplyDeleteThat is a very beautiful dog you have. I was in the Marines from 1996-2000. In fact, I was trained on an Army base. I was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas for 6 months. I had a blast while out there. Army life is very different from Marines life, but I must say, you guys sure do know how to get down. I have subscribed to your feed and will be checking up on your blog from time to time. Good luck.
Thanks Sean!
DeleteMan, can you believe I'm getting ready to make 31 on the 24th and this is actually my first pet in my entire life? I'm enjoying it! In fact, I'm enjoying it so much I went back to the shelter a week later and adopted another puppy. My wife is losing her mind lol, but it brings so much more joy and peace to our home.
I was stationed in Fort Stewart, Ga and my time in the Army had its ups and downs since I had to endure the first 21 days of war post 9/11. So, you know how that goes. I agree when you say the Army knows how to get down though.
Thanks again,
Felix
